Rostering for hospitality groups with more than one venue.
Your pub, your café and your function venue don’t run the same way, so they shouldn’t be squeezed into the same settings. In Kaslu Work every venue is set up the way it actually runs, and head office sees all of them in one place.
Early access is opening to Australian hospitality groups a few at a time.
Why groups outgrow one-size rostering.
Most rostering software is built for one business with one set of rules. Once a group has a few venues, the same problems come up.
- Every venue forced to run the same way. The pub needs a gaming section and a 1am close. The café opens at 6am and has three sections. One set of settings fits neither.
- The group chat drifts from the roster. Shifts still get swapped in each venue’s chat, and by Friday nobody’s sure which version is right.
- Hours retyped every pay run. Someone at head office copies hours from each venue into the accounting software, by hand.
Each venue, its own rules.
Every venue in Kaslu Work has its own settings, set once by the owner or the venue manager.
- Trading hours. Each venue’s hours for each day, so cover is checked against when that venue is actually open.
- Sections. Bar, floor, kitchen, gaming, functions, or whatever that venue uses. The roster is laid out by them.
- Rounding. Choose how clock-ins round at each venue.
- Roles and approvals. Decide who can build the roster, who approves swaps and who sees what.
- A clock-in boundary. Drawn on the map around each venue. Clock-ins outside it are held for a manager.
One view for head office.
An operations manager shouldn’t have to log in to five venues to find out who’s on tonight.
- Tonight across the group. The manager dashboard shows every venue at once: what’s rostered, what’s still open and who’s on the clock right now.
- Hours you can trust at every venue. Worked hours come from the clock and sit next to rostered hours. Every manager change is recorded, and approved timesheets export to CSV.
- Clock-ins that work anywhere on site. No signal in the cool room or the cellar? The clock-in is saved on the phone and syncs when it reconnects.
Built to connect to the rest of the group.

Questions
Can each venue have different rounding and approval rules?
Yes. Rounding, approvals, trading hours, sections and the clock-in boundary are all set per venue, so a pub and a café in the same group can run completely differently.
Can head office see every venue in one place?
Yes. The manager dashboard shows every venue in the group together, and roles decide who can see and change what.
Does Kaslu Work calculate award rates or run payroll?
No. Kaslu Work records the hours your staff actually work and gets them approved. Your payroll software works out the pay. Approved timesheets export to CSV today, and sending them straight to Xero, MYOB and Employment Hero / KeyPay is on the way.
